【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversathermoplasticinsulationofpoly(vinylchloride)orthecopolymerofvinylchlorideandvinylacetate.1.2Thisinsulationisrecommendedforuseinpowerandcontrolcircuitsattemperaturesnothigherthan75176;C.Atathicknessof15mils(0.38mm),applicationislimitedtovoltageratingsbelow300V,andtodrylocations.Atathicknessof30mils,theapplicationrangeiswidenedtodryorwetapplications,andtoavoltageratingof600V.1.3Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisspecificationsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
