【摘要】:Whenalubricatinggreaseseparatesoil,theremainingcompositionincreasesinconsistency.Thiscanaffecttheabilityoftheproducttofunctionasdesigned.Ithasbeenfoundthattheresultsofthistestcorrelatedirectlywiththeoilseparationthatoccursin35-lbpailsofgreaseduringstorage.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtopredictoilseparationtendenciesofthegreaseunderdynamicconditions.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetendencyofalubricatinggreasetoseparateoilduringstorageinbothnormallyfilledandpartiallyfilledcontainers.1.2ThistestmethodisnotsuitableforgreasessofterthanNLGINo.1grade.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard,exceptforthedimensionsinand,whereinch-poundunitsarestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,see.
