【摘要】:DuringtheoperationofaUFsystem,conditionsincludingpressureandtemperaturecanvary,causingpermeateflowtochange(seeNote1).Toeffectivelyevaluatesystemperformance,itisnecessarytocomparepermeateflowdataatthesameconditions.Sincedatamaynotalwaysbeobtainedatthesameconditions,itisnecessarytoconverttheUFdataobtainedatactualconditionstoasetofconstantconditions,therebystandardizingthedata.Theuserofthispracticedeterminesthestandardconditions.ThispracticegivestheproceduretostandardizeUFdataonpurewateronly.Note18212;Feedconcentration,crossflowvelocity,andbothdeviceandtotalsystemrecoverywillalsoinfluencepermeaterate,especiallywhenoperatingonotherthanpurewater.Thispracticedoesnotaddressthosesystemconditions.Thispracticecanbeusedforsystemswhichcontainspiral-wound,tubular,plateandframe,andhollowfiberdevices.Thispracticecanbeusedforasingle-elementoramulti-elementsystem.However,iftheUFsystemisstaged,standardizethepermeateflowandsaltpassageforeachstageseparately.Thisrequirespressurereadingsatthefeedinletandconcentrateoutletofeachstage.ThispracticeisapplicableforUFsystemswithnosignificantleaksbetweenthefeed/concentrateandpermeatestreams.Thispracticeassumesnosignificantosmoticpressuredifferential(x0394;x03C0;)existsintheUFsystemundertheactualoperatingconditions.Differentialosmoticpressurewillreducethepermeateraterelativetooperationonpurewater.TheuserofthispracticeshouldbeawarethatfouledUFdeviceswillproducelesspermeateflowthannonfouleddevices,andmaywishtoperformflushing,chemical,ormechanicalcleaning,orcombinationthereof,priortodeterminingthepermeateflowperformanceofthedevice.1.1Thispracticecoversthestandardizationofpermeateflowforultrafiltration(UF)systems.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletonaturalwatersincludingbrackishwaters,seawaters,andultrapurewatersincludingthoseusedinpowergenerationandmicroelectronicsandpharmaceuticalsproduction.Itisnotnecessarilyapplicabletowastewaters.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
